Description

I hate In-Ears.
Whenever I see people listening to LOUD music with their stupid In-Ears I really want to rip those horrible things out of their ears!
You are ruining your ears and don't even care about it (and almost everyone uses them too loud)…fine with me, I already have tinnitus! I'm just warning you, not that anyone would listen to me…

My tinnitus started two years ago when it was completely silent. There was a loud bang in both of my ears when this mixture of rustling and the famous high-pitched noise started to ring in my ears. Since then it's annoying me every single night. I'm still not sure what exactly caused my tinnitus, probably it's simply because of stress. But I'm sure the use of In-Ears and headphones also add their part to it. I never used them very often or loudly but I became extremely careful when my tinnitus started. I always have the feeling they make it worse even if I only use them for a few minutes. Noise in general makes the sound in my ears increasingly louder.
But well, you get used to everything...

I had it last year, but only for two weeks, then it stopped again. I thought perhaps it had been caused by stress, but now I'm thinking, could it have been some virus instead? I I had it in one ear only, or at least it was louder in one ear. A really loud rushing sound. In any case I was happy to wake up one morning with the noise gone. Good luck with it, hopefully it will come to an end at some point for you as well.
